Avocado oil is a wonderfully versatile and healthy oil pressed from the fruit of the avocado (Persea Americana).  With its neutral flavor and unusually high smoke point of 491°F (255°C), avocado oil can be used in place of traditional cooking oils when your dish requires deep frying, such as vegetable or meat tempura and egg rolls.  It is also a perfect alternative ingredient for making healthier sauces and spreads, such as Paleo and Vegan mayo.
