  • Avocado oil is a wonderfully versatile and healthy oil pressed from the fruit of the avocado (Persea Americana).  With its neutral flavor and unusually high smoke point of 491°F (255°C), avocado oil can be used in place of traditional cooking oils when your dish requires deep frying, such as vegetable or meat tempura and egg rolls.  It is also a perfect alternative ingredient for making healthier sauces and spreads, such as Paleo and Vegan mayo.

    This flavorful and aromatic oil is made by pressing perfectly toasted sesame seeds and is also known as gingelly oil or til oil.  Sesame oil is often used in South Indian, Chinese, Lorean, and Southeast Asian cuisine and is a lovely flavor enhancer to stir-fried vegetables, pan seared meats, spring rolls, and fried rice.  Add a drop or two to any dish where a nutty sesame flavor is desired!
